It's been a while since I've been active on DA, but I'm back to recommend ruri-dere's comic, Phantom Paradise. The comic has gorgeous art and a good story based off of Chinese lore, history and culture. I love the drama and the action, but my favorite part of the comic is the society the author created for the story. It takes place in the afterlife where gender roles are reversed and women hold the most power instead of men. But the women in the afterlife are just as power-hungry and abusive of their power as men are in the living world.

Yay, 8000 page views!  And I just realized I didn't update my journal when I reached 7000...oh well.

I haven't updated in while, but I plan on getting a new camera soon, and when I get it I'll update for sure.  I've been dying to photograph these mountains since I got here. Too bad I don't have Photoshop anymore though. :(  I'll have to try to find a way to get a copy.
